For the record, I do not agree with Common Core teaching standards. In fact, I do not agree with most teaching standards in our educational system now.
There is no level of acceptable learning skills being taught within our schools. Our students are being driven to become test score zombies. Demands are being placed on teachers to increase passing test scores against state standards or be in jeopardy of losing funding.... Really??
In the droning of finger pointing in our Federal and State governments, over The American People Being Held Hostage, we fail to see where our children are being held hostage, and in turn, our futures. And this is not a recent or an anomalous event in any case....
The foundation of learning has been sacrificed in a baited environment of Score Well Or Lose Your Support. How can anyone, including myself, allow our children to be manipulated in such a vicious and insincere manner??
And now we have a renewed threat from Common Core....
Nothing threatening in the wording of the Standards wouldn't you say??
Nothing looks very bad in an outward first blush. It requires digging and due diligence to discover the truth.
Fortunately there is already a large push to eliminate Common Core. The truth is being revealed. But why has it taken a push AFTER implementation to find the facts and to draw criticism??
Simply put... We are all too busy and disinterested in the important things affecting our lives to investigate details. We are far too trusting of those in power....
Obamacare sound familiar in this regard???
Nancy Pelosi, being the ignorant sycophant that she is, loudly proclaimed we needed to implement the ACA in order to find out what was in it.... Is it no wonder we are in the dramatic societal malaise that we find ourselves??
Watch the above video. Make note of the age of this young man. Make note of the true knowledge and understanding. Make note of what an American Citizen with a genuine interest in truth looks and sounds like.
Now look in the mirror and see if you can find that same identity... If not, don't be alarmed. There is still time to stop the insanity that is in control....

Frequent is the whining of Someone Else Is At Fault with anything occurring in our nation's capital.
Quite repeatedly is there an inability to completely accept responsibility for policies gone wrong. Accepting responsibility with a BUT is not accepting responsibility.
But then again I wouldn't expect anything less from our Tantrum Pitching Brat In Chief.
Insurers have been bound by the law itself. The law mandates that any policy not meeting the standards of the ACA must be altered. PERIOD!!
And in the insurance industry you cannot just modify a policy. So in that insurance policies have been cancelled.
And there is still no failure in those supporting the POTUS by throwing the distractions....
A Leftist is a good Leftist when they make accusations in a broad sweeping path. And as usual, without legitimacy and/or minimal accuracy.
Of course there are those that simply do not like Obama because he is black. But for a person of influence to make a statement trying to imply a majority or substantial number of those in America are racist against the POTUS is below the standard of respectability.
No I do not like Obama in any way. None.
But do I dislike him for his skin color?? No.
I do however find nothing but contempt for the "Fundamental Changing Of America" that this individual has forced upon our nation.
Unlike most supporters of the President, I look at facts and results.
I disregard out of hand ANY Obama Supporter that can only offer comparisons to G.W. Bush in trying to defend actions by this president.
I personally do not allow a defense of a person that can not take full responsibility for their actions without qualifications of "IF" or "BUT".... Stand as a man and do what is right.
Make no mistake, to coin the over wrought phrase so often heard in the last few years.... I DO NOT respect Barrack Hussein Obama. PERIOD!! To coin yet another over wrought word....
Is that disgusting?? So says you if you do so think....
I DO respect the office of President Of The United States. PERIOD!!! And I find our current title holder unworthy....
Don't forget we were charged by the founders of our government to hold ANY individual in power accountable to the Constitution and the rights of the Executive Branch....
Has the Constitution been defended by this president or has it been disregarded and betrayed?? I say Betrayed and Disregarded in many ways throughout the existence of this administration.
Is Obama the first to betray the trust of the American people?? No, of course not.
But guess what?? He's the one elected and in control now.... Not Bush.... Not Clinton.... Not any other president....
Make no promises you cannot keep.... Has that not happened in the past with other presidents?? Sure it has, repeatedly....
The difference is, this promise of Universal Health Care affects most Americans and not just segments of our society.... But hasn't that happened in the past as well?? Duh!!! And even then the American people should have been rising up to demand truth and accountability....
We are all at fault and responsible for our actions, and that includes the voting booth. Wringing of hands and guilt over being duped is understandable and needed, but the actions taken because of that reality check is the real deciding factor in whether a lesson has been learned.
This one single promise of "If you like it you can keep it..." was made, without qualifications and without exceptions... "PERIOD!!"
The ironic aspect is that it wasn't just the POTUS that made the promise.... He had plenty of help from others....

Instead we have those in the Democratic Party fleeing the sinking ship like rats because of their defense of a failed promise. How many are claiming responsibility for helping approve a disaster??
There can be respect gained from unqualified acceptance of actions... Instead that direction has been ignored.
Either Stand Up And Defend Freedom When It's Challenged, Or Sit Down And Shut Up When That Freedom Disappears Because You Did Nothing....
