The greatest travesty involved with this fiasco is that another celebrity has also made a comment using an otherwise thought of discriminatory use of words.

Yes, I know.... Alec being a Hollywood Celebrity gives him an excuse for being able to use that terminology without reproach. Not that I believe it but that this is where the obvious division in our society of acceptance and non-acceptance has been drawn.
Another level of ridiculousness is the age of the admitted comment made by Paula. Quite a bit of time has passed since her "indiscretion". Even with that admitted truth, her confession of regret and apology are insufficient for the Offensiveness Police.
I know.... I know.... Alec apologized also. Buuuuuuuuuuut I haven't heard or seen anything of his being dropped by Capital One because of his indiscretion. DUH!!!!

I do not accept the double standard. I claim the higher ground of truth and conviction in attempting to judge others by the same requirements and standards. Yes.... I used the word judge, and it's ok.
There are far more controversial issues to be disturbed about. Far more pressing demands for our attention, many of which are life changing.
A comment made by someone in the past is not an issue for such aggressive action, when not equally distributed by public opinion.
It's blatant cowardice to pick on someone, probably because of her Southerness, for making a statement. A statement.... She didn't assault or discriminate against anyone by the accusation or confession made. Those are the things to be judged against because of laws prohibiting them.
Yes.... I know this entire issue is nothing new. I get that.... But until things are different I will not allow the status quo in Leftist / Progressive whining inequality to step by without sticking my foot out to trip them....

A Different Father's Day....

Looking back on this day of recognition for our Fathers it seems logical to look also at the Fathers of another aspect of our lives....
The Founding Fathers. These were those men responsible for the birth of our nation and in being so, making the decisions and sacrifices necessary for the removal of subjection by an oppressive monarchy.
To say these men, individually, were perfect and at all times had the best interests of the infant nation at heart would be insincere and without merit. However, as a group, these men combined the knowledge, experience and wisdom required to mold the guidelines for chartering our future.
Like our own fathers, these men were challenged with seeing the future and what could be used in their minds as long term, if not infinite, advice and guidance to help steer the course of their children and those of future generations.
These men didn't see much of the current challenges we face as a nation. How could they??? But with what was known to them as constants for leadership and governing they did create a Declaration Of Independence, Constitution and Bill Of Rights which have withstood the test of time. But those values are offensive to segments of society that refuse to require personal responsibility and would rather rely on a heavy hand of "equality" to bring "fairness".
My statement isn't one of questioning the validity of these sacred documents. My statement is one of warning in the challenge to our birthright by those that would obliterate the history built upon the foundation of Independence, Constitutional Freedom and the Rights Of The Citizen by being American.
In saying so, do not judge me for a bleak outlook and a lack of positive thinking. My words are for action. The sweet and delicate outlook of daily life is skewed toward the distractions required to be able to ignore reality. With these distractions, the reality looming for each of us will be as a thundering herd crashing through walls of our ignorance.
The desire today is for a global community with complete equality and sharing of any gain with all those around us, irregardless of worthiness or need. The edicts being handed down and ratified by the current administration, from the U.N., are unprecedented.
Our current administration has an open contempt for America as a nation and as a people. Nothing has been hidden, but for those not looking it cannot be seen.
The value of words vs. the actions of those speaking them are quite useful in the journey for truth and understanding. But in the actions are where the truth is found in it's entirety.
The open betrayal by this impostor, currently in office, is reason enough for the uprising of the nation, by those who refuse to accept the demise of the greatest country on earth.
Like our own fathers, we have a responsibility to prevent or remove threats to those people, things, beliefs or places we hold dear and believe to be true. Our opposition has no problem doing so, but they are far more militant than so many of us who love and would die in the defense of freedom.
For too long we've rested on the comfort of our father's efforts and allowed a darkness to infiltrate the halls of power for our nation. We are responsible for the betrayal of our father's memory and the sacrifices in defense of the freedom we enjoy today, while it lasts.
Our own society is fractured to the core from the failure of fathers in leading families and being role models for our youth. In that failure, the government has found an avenue for bringing about a transformation of our belief system.
With no father figures for our youth, the government has seen itself as the new guiding facet of young lives and the controlling source of all aspects of the lazy generations we have created.
The new generations are without direction in self respect, honor, duty or any of the other values that molded our history. The lack of male leadership within our families have crushed the hope for a promising future in our own lives or of those of our children.
Nothing will ever be as it was in our nation in respect to freedom or ability to achieve or live without fear of persecution. That is obvious and without doubt to anyone honestly looking at where we were and looking forward to what it would take to bring back what once was.
Our best hope in returning honor to our fathers and their memory is to stop the loss now and mend what can be mended. What's left will be our burden and consequence for our personal inaction through a lack of resolve.

Nothing possibly could come of this seeing as the government ALWAYS has the citizen's best interest at heart, right???
We are being sold out by these companies, but of course the government could force the issue and take what they want by law, if that's not the case anyway.

Claiming of information gathering mistakenly occurring is a standard cop-out for anyone of any entity trying to divert the fingers of justice.

Where will you personally draw the line??? Has your life not become just a little more uncomfortable??? When will that final straw be broken???
The knowledge that YOUR government is, as expected, watching your electronic activity should bring the masses marching on the Capital. There is not a reason for this type of activity any longer, except, the perceived Domestic Terror threat is the excuse for such things.
Our current administration so desperately desires that our actual terror threat be that of disgruntled, extremist Right Wing citizens. That was the hope with the bombing in Boston and the very reason the POTUS asked for people to "... not jump to conclusions." over who was responsible.
Signs of dissent are showing now with the continuous strings of blunders and out right illegal acts by this administration and those in it's service. But what is enough???
It's nearly humorous to see the background set up for appearances by the POTUS. The people are always smiling and have the outward look of content and no worry. Of course there was a massive show of emotion in North Korea when the Kim Jong-Il funeral was broadcast.

This is just another soothing of the Progressive nerves in an effort to maintain control. Conservative nerves could be added to that list but anyone truly Conservative wouldn't be so easily spoon fed such complete crap.
Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah and others have done the same as any individual trying to shift the spotlight, they've changed their spots. Sounds like a politician we have in the White House.
So in technical terms this statement is correct in that they don't exist. But this is, of course, a standard "half truth" used so much in politics. Misleading the citizens with a glimmering statement works well in the nation of lemmings we are surrounded with today.

Although an Unemployment number in itself is entirely skewed by those handling the information to match the desired spin. And this number will be "revised", like most monthly numbers so far, because of some type of recurring incompetence by those reporting the numbers.
Should accuracy be desired and truth be the goal, the Employment number should be followed. It's obvious how many are not working.
Knowing how many are working, the type of work they're doing and Part Time vs Full Time are all that's needed.

This one was a bit of a blind side. Not at all surprised by the fact that it happened but was, however, surprised that it was approved at one level only to be squelched at another. Incompetence!!!
Another ridiculous situation of incompetence. This kind of management in business will quickly lead to the loss of said business. So in saying that, one can see where and why our national government, along with so many state and local governments, is failing and control is rapidly deteriorating before our eyes.
There are, in so many things, a flow of indications that point to issues / problems in any given situation. One only has to look and be open to the information and read the signs.
Our personal lives are no different. We wouldn't be any less urgent in correcting issues affecting our personal lives, so then why do we allow our government to be so much less accountable???
This video has nothing to do with any Separation Of Church And State. This is about acknowledging that which the majority of Americans knows to be true if even in a creative manner. The offending of those who disagree interests me in the very least as their position is weak and not at all backed with facts or conviction. And even if some grey colored half fact exists I find an equally vacant ability to care.
Those segments of our society who would be offended, when even combined, would be still less than the majority who would not be.
Take note though at the frequent actions taken against the desires of the majority for the emotions of the few and even one.
We are a nation of spineless cowards with no conviction or moral backbone to defend even the shadows of truth.
