Standing For What You Believe In....

So often we are inundated with points of view from every direction. For the typical mind it's a massive undertaking to absorb all the aspects of opinion being generated by every media and social networking outlet.

After a daily dose of these glaring realities most people just sit back in their recliner, shake their head a few times, briefly voice an opinion to his or her spouse and the entire matter drops at that point.

Why? Is our own opinion not worthy of being expressed and defended in a more open matter? Passive acceptance of those things which cause us discomfort in both private and public life is the open door of oppression.

There are very real and substantial threats to the withering foundation of our Conservative society and communities. And this is only because of the repeated acceptance of those boisterous opinions thrust upon us by the Liberal Left. Such a massive attack against all things Conservative, Constitutional and in particular, Christian, has not been seen in our nation at this level before.

This is a recurring story so often heard this time of year since, as I can recall in much detail, probably the late 1980's.

   There's the problem.... Recurring.

Why is there still a teacher, or whoever is responsible, at the school to even dictate that a sacred song of celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ could be mangled in such a manner?? Oh yeah.... The teacher's union. But this is not something new. This happens CONSTANTLY!!! And yet, there it is.... Still happening.

Citizens standing for what they believe in have sway over those in power. Yes, that is true. However, the methods and passion of those voicing opinions have everything to do with the response. The parents voiced a protest and an apology was given, but is that enough?? I think not. There is a basic problem in that it was even determined to be acceptable in the first place.....

Those on the Left know all too well the path to take for bringing about change. We as Conservatives have a lesson to be learned. And since that lesson is still not learned, we sit back, shake our heads and bemoan the failure of our society. With that glimmering aspect being that WE ARE THE SOCIETY!!!! And with that We All Have Failed......

Take a stand!!! Do at least as much as these parents and demand, most vehemently, that there be redress of the issue.

http://dailycaller.com/2013/12/07/texas-grade-school-bans-christmas-despite-new-state-law-explicitly-allowing-christmas/

But then there is foolishness like this, from the state of Texas of all places!!!

There is an inherent issue to be addressed with any individual that perceives the acceptance of banning even the colors of Christmas!!!

But you know where I'd go with this. It's obvious and I'd be beating a dead horse as it were....

We have been hurtling toward this end for many years. Yes, far before Obama ever came on the scene. But with this current administration the taking of Freedom and Constitutional Rights has never been so blatant.

These "choices" are very dangerous in their ultimate conclusion. A people oppressed will eventually break and turn against the oppressor. And in the wisdom of Franklin, we are steadily losing all liberty and security.

But those views of what is necessary Liberty or necessary Security are where we are at odds. The grab for complete power is raging with few champions to counter the beast on a Legislative level. Why is that??

Just my opinion, but it seems, like any other "SMH" moment you or I can point to, there is no immediate inconvenience or discomfort to our lives so the beast is allowed to take small bites, unhindered by any worthy threat.

Where are those that believe so strongly that our Liberty, Values and actual Freedom are in danger?? Those people are out there. But the voices are being squelched by a controlling force grabbing all power and influence available.

My views are quite militaristic in some ways. I don't deny that.

I actually believe Washington D.C. should be ashes in response to the tyrannical threat overshadowing us all. In the very least the streets should be choked with the masses of Americans claiming to oppose the open take over of our country.

Our leadership has no fear of it's citizens. Those in power should be constantly looking over their shoulders in fear of reprisal from those that hired them to do a job they are failing to perform. "Period!!"

This is no different than allowing a school full of children to do as they please with no supervision, or allowing a prison to be run by the criminals.

We as Americans are not standing for what we believe in and that in turn this has allowed our leadership in our communities, states and nationally to move away from The Will Of The People and coddle the louder minority.

Are you standing for what you believe in?? Are you accepting the will of the few over the will of the majority??

I'll answer that for you..... No you aren't and Yes you are.... And for a long time neither have I.... But quite a few years ago my eyes were opened to the reality of a fading America. My voice was realized and my ability to not accept what I felt was wrong came to life.

Pick the issue and take a stand.

Abortion.... Gun Control.... Gay Marriage.... Immigration.... Obamacare.... Common Core.... Separation Of Church And State.... Climate Change.... Israel.... Iranian Nukes.... Federal Reserve Propping Up The Stock Market.... and on and on and on....

Remember the Aaron Tippin song, "You've Got To Stand For Something Or You'll Fall For Anything"??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_s-Qk07KxA

Such an accurate representation of reality.

There is a very basic truth in that we have become so accepting of whatever we're told that we've discarded our beliefs to maintain a low profile and not cause trouble. So when the knock at our door comes from those that are there to take all that's left, we shouldn't be surprised.

http://www.examiner.com/article/christians-standing-up-for-freedom-of-religion-and-speech

Then there is the ultimate denial of our beliefs. That denial which has a permanent reach, for those that believe.

How do the modern Christians stand on their beliefs?? Better yet, how do we not?!?!?! There has been and even now IS such persecution of Christians around the world to no lesser degree than in any time in history.

But just as the disciples denied even the physically present Jesus Christ, we too have the same burden for not denying and even defending our faith.

http://biblebasics.wordpress.com/2007/02/16/12-disciples/

This link shows the price of standing for Christ in the days after the crucifixion. The ultimate in persecution for those that actually saw the living Christ. Imagine the price paid by those around the globe today for standing on faith in an unseen Christ.

How many are willing to stand on their faith and defend the persecution of other Christians around the globe and at home from the comfort of a, at least currently, free nation?? And yet, even the threat of just verbal ridicule is enough to silence the voice of The Word in our nation.

And finally, a post from Facebook by Ken Toney.

 TO ALL MY DEMOCRAT FRIENDS:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2014, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great.
Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere.
Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual preference of the wisher.

TO ALL MY REPUBLICAN FRIENDS:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2014.

Profound actually and a point of view I support wholeheartedly. The complicated restrictions on opinions on one side of the political spectrum to the simplified nature of the other.

Fear of offending and the forced acceptance of the widening myriad of positions held by the Left has created a zombie nation. A lock step society that can not be allowed to offend, and must accept even the smallest minority. There will be no end to the scourge.

I have no personal desire or ability to believe that ALL opinions and beliefs must be accepted. That's not possible even in a secular realm. I do however believe that I'm compelled to acknowledge the existence of various beliefs and opinions. But that's it.

There is no law or person that can force me to accept something I believe is wrong as a "right". I have to yield to the pressure and allow myself to deny my beliefs.

But instead I must know that the opposition is there. I must assure there is no mistaking my point of view, otherwise I've not actually made a stand for what I believe in.....

Merry Christmas!!.... Common Core (Last Time)

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/12/06/its-time-to-stop-the-madness-n-j-lawmaker-takes-a-bold-stand-in-fight-to-defend-christmas/

There are prices to be paid for standing on principles. Criticism is to be expected. Daggers of hate are assured. We are in a world where it's frowned upon to be Traditional or Conservative.

There truly is a madness gripping not just our nation but our world. Innumerable masses of people looking for the next offense to complain about, the next opinion to be attacked. A bold stand is needed and a defensive, "to the death" attitude is the only option in dealing with the Leftist/Progressive agenda.

Sure, there is a freedom to be allowed in opposition. Our foundation is rooted in freedom to express opinions. But there has been a gutting of the intent, a corruption of purpose in the sharing of beliefs and opinions.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/12/06/christmas-is-better-without-christ-atheists-take-their-anti-christmas-message-to-nycs-times-square/

A public display of opinion. An outrageous comment in many areas of our country, but not nearly as many as in past decades.

Still, this opinion is defended by our Constitution. It's offensive to me personally, but yet again, what allows me to be offended allows these people to express their views. Sounds good right?

It's a great concept that has been basically twisted into a Liberal demand for only one side of the debate. And this has happened because of a militant Left confronting a passive Right. "Period!"

There will be little if any protest over this billboard. And there is a right to complain, and yet there is no right to FORCE the removal of this billboard. There is a right to post a billboard with an opposing view, but will there be?? Doubtful. In the very least those opposed to such a view should be broadly voicing the dissent.... And in the most a sharing of the beliefs and joy of the Christmas Season from a Christian point of view.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/12/05/bizarre-and-offensive-dem-senators-overtly-christian-i-believe-in-god-ad-sparks-republican-war-of-words/

Here is where standing on personal belief supersedes that of political belief. And in this one Senator's apparent break with his political history is admirable, if genuine in nature.

There lies the reason for his natural opposition from the Republican Party. Being affiliated with a Progressive Democratic Party is not possible while maintaining a Conservative, personal view. It's to be expected that one would be attacked.

But should this be a genuine statement of belief, this man is to be supported. But my own "kudos" for him is qualified with an expectation of the current alignment with the Democratic party being disavowed in light of an inherent conflict of religious conviction vs. that of political demands.

Yes, I believe it is impossible to be a Democrat and claim genuine Christian faith. Harsh?? Not at all. Think otherwise?? Bring it!!!

It's a matter of standing on faith in The Word Of God (Right) or standing on the word of man (Left). There is no room for both in the life of a genuine Christian.

http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/12/07/5399770/santa-trumps-the-grinch-under.html?rh=1#

Something one would expect from the state of Texas. Another indication of the level of annoyance at the PC society we've created. Tradition is important, even in a secular frame of reference. But without religion binding our communities and families we have only a downward spiral into the abyss of humanist destruction to look forward to.

Of course the opposition to this event would downplay the reality. Claims of a "perceived" war on Christmas is to be expected. Nothing a Conservative is considered urgent of important by those on the Left. We have only ourselves to blame.

A strong and marginally militaristic position must be taken and maintained. This is the vehicle for change used over the decades by the Left to advance the humanist agenda. What's good for the goose.....

A warning is to be rung throughout the land in what I perceive as a method of not needing to fight religion on the surface. Take down religion from beneath, with Common Core.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/11/common-core-extreme-statements_n_3908402.html

Then there is this kind of statement from a heavily Lefty rag. "Extreme" statements made about Common Core. And without even reading the article one can determine that any statements made in the article are genuine and with merit because of the "extreme" tag.

This is not uncommon... A phrase used from Lefty publications all the way up to the White House. This is a fear term to assert anyone opposed to the Progressive/Democratic agenda is bordering on a terrorist. Before this administration finally runs out, there very well could be a realization of an "extreme" Right reaction to the damage being done to our nation.

I personally see no alternative to regaining Conservative control beyond that of a Revolution. If not in a bloody sense then in a political sense. In either regard the price will be high....

The assault on our children by such things as Common Core is reprehensible. As parents and concerned citizens every meeting of school boards, in every school district should be overflowing with those demanding an elimination of Common Core. Why hasn't there been??

True, there is a growing drum beat of demands for a removal of such Socialist brainwashing. BUT, for how long has this, and other initiatives been introduced to our schools?? Where has the influence of parents been before now?? Why has it come to a majority of states having this trash initiated before a realization took hold??

It's simple. "Parents" have little interest in the lives and influences on their children. As long as there is no letter home demanding a parent / teacher conference then everything is perfectly fine. There is no reason for intervention, curiosity or open questioning of authority because the children are perfect little zombies.

Dig into and know what is happening in your area schools!!! It's not a matter of just gaining enlightenment, it's a matter of assuring the direction of teaching is in line with that of the community, not the Federal Government....

And just as a parting thought (as I believe I will not bother with this easy to determine subject again) we must acknowledge, if for no other reason, that this entire Common Core methodology is flawed in even it's title.

Common Core..... Consider it for what it says.... COMMON CORE - No individuality..... No personal achievement.... Quite pluralistic.... Removes personal initiative in place of the COMMON good..... CORE suggests an ultimate agenda..... A lack of simple standards of teaching.... Basic learning skills and basic subject matter are removed...... The students are forced to lower their abilities to that of the slowest learner..... And yes I know this was happening before now..... "No Child Left Behind" was a FAIL from G.W. Bush, among several..... Guess why?? Something strangely familiar about that initiative and Common Core.... Like so many things a re-branding of something already tried or even still in action with just a tweek or two to make it "different"..... Sounds like typical D.C. politics???
