I've bemoaned the fact of most folks only wring their hands and whining about any issue that offends their sensibilities. That's the extent of "protest" in our American life.
It's good to vent. Nothing wrong with telling what you think or even how you think it. Value can be found in unloading our emotions over the things we find irritating before they have time to fester. But understand also that there is an opposing view out there and it has an equal right to be heard. And should you not stand and defend the honor of your ideals, you will become subject to the opposition.
Those of us that pay attention to the headlines we're fed and also pay attention to those that are not shared can easily see where what is morally right ISN'T what we find. Rarely, if at all, do we see traditional views shared in a positive light.
"Traditional".... That which is now considered "Old Fashioned" and passe.
A supposed evolution in thinking has occurred in our world. One that indicates we must be completely accepting and understanding of those things which are Non-Traditional. Regardless of what we think personally, our opinions are now considered threatening and criminal, should that opinion be contrary to revised values.
The suppression of Freedom Of Speech is just another step taken on the road to completely eliminating anything not embracing of abnormal behavior. We've already given up more than we can ever regain. That's a fact we cannot ignore.
But guess what?? I'm still a Traditionalist / Constitutional / Conservative all the same. Sure, that makes me a target for those that see me, and those like me, as a threat. But I'm ok with that. I'm not lost on the fact that if you don't have enemies you don't stand for anything....
Our rogue SCOTUS has deemed themselves (the majority of them anyway) a Legislative Branch as well as a Judicial Branch. Most the the justices no longer interpret law, but instead interpret original meaning and intent. But that's not their job.
If a law is faulty, then it's the job of the justices to point that out, not allow a free pass because the authors of that law were too stupid to get it right the first time!!
Instead, we find that interpretive decisions don't apply to a novelty administration that cobbles together a ramshackle piece of legislation in order to make a point, but not expecting Congress to be so naive as to actually PASS it before they even read it!!!
So now we have Obamacare's quite specific statement of subsidies ONLY being available to those who buy insurance on State Exchanges being ignored by the highest judicial court in the land. That's criminal in and of itself!!!
But our SCOTUS wasn't through.... The state issue of Gay Marriage had to be decided. So instead of doing their job and refusing to hear the complaint, they pass law stating that Gay Marriage is a Constitutional Right. Never seen it written in the Constitution for even straight couples, let alone gay couples. But we can't be hung up on facts....
Then there's the corrupted and COMPLETELY ROGUE Congress....
Not to be outdone, our illustrious Congress has decided that our president doesn't have enough power. So rather than doing their job, they take a page from the SCOTUS playbook and decide to make themselves even more useless and give the Executive Branch the power to further cripple our nation with NAFTA Part II, on steroids.
Without going into details, you should Google (or whatever method) TPP and/or TPA. This is the latest edition to continuing elimination of national sovereignty in deference to a Global Government. Only this one is specific to jobs and who has the power to give and take jobs and commerce.
As luck would have it, TPP gives American control of International Commerce, including jobs, to a global conglomeration of non-elected officials who decide who needs jobs, where those jobs will be and how much those jobs will pay.
So the scenario plays out like this (think the recent Disney fiasco)....
1) You're working your job making $25 an hour.
2) The committee decides a group of disadvantage people from the South East Asian area of the world need jobs.
3) You happen to be working at the very job those people need.
4) You can be removed (fired) from that job so that these "disadvantaged" folks can do that same job for $15 an hour.
5) That job doesn't necessarily mean it will be moved overseas. It could be the very same job, in the very same location in which you now work, i.e. Disney fiasco.
What's the goal of this plan? Depress wages in developed countries to a "fair" level with underdeveloped countries.
TPA gives the president sole authority to make these deals as the sole representative of the United States. This is known by the term "Fast Track".
How do we stop this kind of take over?? Our own Congress has betrayed the trust of the American people in the interests of participating in the underlying goal of a New World Order. There's a term we've all heard for decades now.
This betrayal has been completed by some of the most well known of "Conservative" Republicans, including Trey Gowdy for example. And once more by delivering us into pit of vipers by way of legislation that "has to be passed to know what's in it".... Heard that before??
So now we have the supposed Constitutional Right of Gay Marriage being forced onto states.
We have Obamacare being re-written from the bench of the SCOTUS so that what is not allowed in the actual law is now allowed.
And now TPA / TPP are on the verge of plunging the death blow into the back of the nation.
This isn't all that has happened, but it's the most prominent of examples.
We can toss in the continuing attacks on the police in America, by those that would impose a Federalized Police Force throughout the nation. This has already been accepted in cities like Cleveland and Baltimore by the way....
So a further control by the Federal Government is being sought, and realized. But we can't claim ignorance (well ok some can) in the whole affair. Barrack Obama told us he wanted a Civilian Army. Remember?? I do..... And now he's getting it. Remember also, there's still an entire year and half left in the administration.
One other pesky fact is that we have shown a penchant for electing novelties to office instead of those with demonstrated experience and ability. So in light of that, a Hillary Clinton presidency is not a stretch....
Either Stand Up And Defend Freedom When It's Challenged, Or Sit Down And Shut Up When That Freedom Disappears Because You Did Nothing....
