Why can't our society prosper?? Why can't the ones that try to help and support those with less, thrive despite the situation they live in, be acknowledged and heralded?? Is there something inherent with the way we've become restricted and constrained in our efforts to lift up the needy without the hand of government "helping"??
Here is a glaring example of where government has to meddle in the affairs of those that take on the mantle of charity, and anything to be honest. And this of course has a religious overtone with the Catholic Church backing this awesome mother and her efforts.
Feeding hungry children will cost $1,000 should the program be continued next summer. Ridiculous!!! But then you knew I would say that...
This is only an example that has made the news. There are others in different and even similar situations all over the country. And the true tragedy is that there aren't uprisings all over America to force the removal of such ignorance and overbearing hand by government. We are the sheep and we get what we deserve.
To have a business Profiting from the Sale of lunches would be one thing. But this isn't the case here. And even if this were a lemonade stand where kids were actually selling for profit would still cause me to cry Foul!!!
The grip of every level of government in our lives is ever tightening. Few through necessity, but most, in my opinion are because of the lack of spine or gumption to uphold any glimmer of a Government For The People.
Either Stand Up And Defend Freedom When It's Challenged, Or Sit Down And Shut Up When That Freedom Disappears Because You Did Nothing....
