Immigration reform will be good for the middle class.... Let that sink in a while....
Good for YOU as a middle class American??? How so??? Please let me know....
I'm sure there are some Union folk out there that surely see this as an improvement to the overall middle class???
The only benefit that I can see is the addition to those paying into the welfare system, SHOULD these New Immigrants actually be placed on a tax paying payroll....

And if it does I'd be glad for it to happen.... BUT.... Any family of 3 making $25,000 or less a year qualifies.... Not sure, but it's a safe bet that this 'entitlement' would only grow in multiples even with, and even because of, immigrant reform...
But consider this.... An ever improving economy, should you believe the drivel from D.C., is what the country is experiencing now.... Really??? So this is supported by the RECORD number of individuals qualifying for SNAP???
So my only possible outlook would be a benefit to the middle class in that the "entitlements", that are having to be used now to help those unable to find work, could be sustained for a while longer. Beyond that, one would have to ask 'where is the help to me?'.
This would not help me in any way as a Middle Class American.... I'm still going to be paying the same level of increased taxes.... I'm still going to be paying the same level of increased insurance costs.... My fuel costs, food costs etc.... are going to be the same and more....
A hasty expansion of the voter base, before the next election cycle, is a more probable goal for those pushing the reform.
But in the glorification of the POTUS, there must surely be an alternate result.... The often touted Middle Class has a champion that is only concerned for their well being and betterment. But this broad definition can now encompass the NEW additions to the Middle Class....
Understand the meaning of the words so often used by politicians.... The ignorant or those lacking motivation for truth are easily swayed by those comforting words....

They are aware of the situation. They know the truth. If it were a truly prosperous situation in our country there would be little room or reason for them to come flooding over so much more than before. There is no dream for prospering in America.... There are dreams of having it better than where they come from.... And living off the government here is better for them still than trying to survive at home....

Just an interesting point of view in looking at this whole debate.
What equals a Golden Highway To The Promised Land has been found at the border in Arizona.... Why not just run on over and partake of the bounty??? Couldn't be much easier than that....
Either Stand Up And Defend Freedom When It's Challenged, Or Sit Down And Shut Up When That Freedom Disappears Because You Did Nothing....
