The debt ceiling, for the next several months, will be, for all outward respects, without A Ceiling!!! So there is a blank check for the POTUS to unleash as much continuing damage on the American people as he can muster.
And a limitless spending account is not a solution. It doesn't work in the most households and can't work in government. And there is a segment of our society that will spend all there is available.
This is glaringly obvious with the EBT snafu in Louisiana that allowed limitless spending, and those affected went wild. These are those that would be quite content in watching the house burn down around them as long as they didn't have to put forth the effort to help put out the flames.

With the Treasury Secretary pushing for a permanent lifting, or complete removal, of any spending / borrowing limits there is not much that an emasculated House of Representatives or minimized Senate can do to prevent our financial doom.
All the Most High Potentate has to do is make more public speeches and bemoan the plight of the middle class and all the while executing maneuvers to assure the destruction of same. And this will be absorbed and taken to heart by all those that still, through complete ignorance, cling to the "Hope" promised in 2008.
There is no reason for Obama to even blink at any threats or demands made by anyone in any branch of government. A pervasive lack of understanding of the true structure of Federal Government by the citizens of the United States gives open lanes of travel to the Progressive Left.

In the regard of Republican power and influence Rush Is Right. There is nothing a political party can do after holding a majority in the financial arm of the Legislative Branch and yet have no power to reign in the spending occurring within the government itself.
Again, our Rock Star president only has to speak to his media slaves and pronounce any various levels of spin on any given subject and he is pronounced as wise and just as King Solomon.

In the continuation of the distract and blame game being played by our "leader" there is a unbelievable level of stupidity and spineless fear with all those opposed to the demented demands coming from the White House.
As long as the benefit train keeps moving down the tracks there will never be any demand for the president to actually do his job as a leader of ALL Americans.
So many so desperately want to believe that the years since 2008 have not actually been the disaster that all indicators point to, but alas that very well is the case. With the convenient lack of knowledge with the American people in the workings of Federal Government it is no wonder any Un-Constitutional actions taken are seen as necessary for the common good.
Point to Congress and blame them for failures in initiatives....
Point to the Tea Party and blame them for hindering policy....
Point to "extremists" and blame them for preventing growth....
Point to a president that's been out of office for over 5 years for anything....
Distraction is one of the greatest tools in warfare. And yes, there is warfare being waged within the walls of our government, except those actually working for the betterment of us all are in dwindling numbers.
Anything available will be used to distract from the important issues on a national level. And again, most Americans don't care what those issues are as long as we're comfortable in the moment.
Remember the science experiment of the frog in the boiler?? It's the same here. The flames have been gradually increased and the discomfort spread around a bit at a time. We've been allowed to absorb small amounts so far. And we have. But we're approaching the level of being cooked and if we weren't so selfish in our daily lives we'd be marching on the White House with torches in our hands and demanding justice.
Lets just continue wringing our hands over the unknown future and ability of our society to actually support a bloated beast of perpetual benefits.
